SHERIDAN COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 8p.m. Friday in Sheridan County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Polaris ATV driven by Zoey M. Storer, 16, Hoxie, was crossing the road from a private drive at 11913 W Road 110 N four miles south of Selden.
The ATV left the roadway and rolled ejecting the passenger identified as Nikki L. Stuckey, 15, Hoxie. She was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Michey Leopold Funeral Home. Storer was not transported for treatment.
