Kan. college daycare employee accused of child sex crimes

BUTLER COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating alleged child sex abuse at a day care and have made an arrest.

On May 03, the El Dorado Police Department took a report regarding past sexual abuse that occurred approximately 5 years ago at EduCare Daycare Center on the Butler Community College Campus in El Dorado, according to police.

During the course of this investigation police arrested an employee of the daycare facility identified as 31-year-old Brett Martin, on requested charges of Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a Child.

Martin is no longer listed on the school's website as the daycare's assistant director.

According to police, Martin was involved in multiple community organization where he came into contact with children.
