                    </figure><p>MCPHERSON COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 6:30 a.m. Thursday in McPherson County.</p><p>The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Chevy Silverado driven by Jeffrey G.&nbsp;Killgore, 56, El Dorado, was&nbsp; northbound&nbsp; on Interstate 135 one mile north of Moundridge.</p><p>The driver stopped on the right hand shoulder to assist a non-injured driver who had struck the guardrail.</p><p>A 2010 Toyota Tundra driven by Sergio R. Moreno, 41, Wichita,&nbsp;&nbsp;struck Killgore as the Toyota was entering the scene.</p><p>Killgore was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to the Sedgwick County Coroner's Office.&nbsp;</p><p>EMS transported Moreno to a Wichita hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
