RILEY COUNTY —A man listed on the Kansas Public Offender registry for two drug crimes including heroin distribution has been arrested for an alleged child sex crime in Manhattan.
Police arrested Miles Loren Martin, 60, Manhattan, on requested charges of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and Sexual exploitation of child, according to a report from the Riley County Police Department. He is being held on a $500,000 bond.
He was in custody Monday for an alleged burglary and theft. The sex crime is alleged to have occurred Monday, according to the RCPD.
Due to the nature of the crime that involves a minor, police are not releasing additional details.
