SEDGWICK COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating an armed robbery and have released security camera images in an attempt to identify the two juvenile suspects.

Just before 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to an armed robbery call at the Kwik Shop in the 4800 block of East 21st Street North in Wichita, according to a media release.

A 25-year-old male employee told police two unknown suspects entered the business, and one of the suspects pointed a handgun at him and demanded money.

Money was taken by the suspects, and when the employee was not able to open additional registers, the suspect with the gun fired one shot in his direction. The employee was not injured.

Both suspects then fled from the business on foot. The suspects are described as black male teens, approximately 5-foot 6 and armed with a silver handgun.

If you know the identity of these two suspects or have any information on this case, please call police.
