Tickets are now on sale for the 2020 Saline County Sheriff's Mounted Patrol & Rescue Squad Rodeo.

The rodeo is scheduled for 7 p.m. April 3-4 in Kenwood Park's Agriculture Hall.

Advanced-sale tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children, with children under age 5 admitted at no charge. Advanced tickets are available at Vanderbilt's, Cowboy Cleaners, and Orscheln Farm & Home, according to information from the Saline County Sheriff's Mounted Patrol & Rescue Squad.

Tickets at the gate will be $8 for adults and $4 for children, with children under age 5 admitted at no charge.

The Saline County Sheriff's Mounted Patrol & Rescue Squad is an all-volunteer organization, that dates back to 1952. Originally the Sheriff’s Posse, the organization has now become the search and rescue unit for Saline County and surrounding areas.

For more than 50 years, the rodeo has been the organization's only means of fundraising to purchase rescue equipment and cover expenses incurred in its operation. While the organization is a stand-alone, non-profit division of the sheriff’s office, it does not receive funding or financial support from the county.
