MANHATTAN —Law enforcement authorities are investigating alleged child abuse in Manhattan and have made an arrest.
Just after 3a.m. Monday, police filed a report for aggravated child endangerment, child abuse, and domestic battery in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Officers listed a 33-year-old man and an infant as the victims.
Police arrested Tiffany Dawn Ryals, 28, Manhattan, on requested charges of abuse of a child; torture or cruelly beating child, aggravated endangering a child; reckless situation to child, domestic battery; knowing or reckless bodily harm to family/person in dating relationship, according to the RCPD arrest report. She is being held on a $10,000 bond.
