CLAY CENTER -- Heart health will be the topic of the upcoming Lunch Bunch program at the Clay County Medical Center (CCMC).

The program is scheduled for noon Wednesday at CCMC. Reservations are required by Monday. Please call CCMC (785) 632-2144 ext.3702 to register. $6 is requested to cover the cost of lunch.

The group meets in the Education Center above the Mark A. Chapman Wellness Center. Please wear red to the lunch to increase women’s heart health awareness.

February is Heart Month and a good time to learn about heart disease and how to live a heart healthy life. The cardiac rehabilitation department at CCMC will be offering blood pressure checks before the noon meal. During lunch, the Cardiac Rehab department will offer education on hypertension, heart disease, and the steps you need to take to help your heart.

CCMC's Lunch Bunch program meets on the third Wednesday of every month. Lunch always begins at noon, and is followed by a guest speaker covering topics of interest in the areas of health, lifestyle, and entertainment.
