SEDGWICK COUNTY— One person died in an accident just after 1p.m. Wednesday in Sedgwick County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Ford Escape driven by Diell, Stephanie Y. Diell, 45, Dodge City, was southbound on 119th Street one half mile west of West MacArthur Road.
The driver ran a stop sign at Kansas 42. An eastbound 2010 Kenworth semi driven by Gerald Morgan, 72, Tulsa, OK., struck the Ford.
EMS transported Diell to St. Francis where she died. Morgan was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
