
SEDGWICK COUNTY —A Kansas man arrested for a November murder made his first court appearance Monday.
Ricky Price, 45, was formally charged with first-degree murder, theft and criminal possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office.
Just after 5p.m. Sunday November 3, police responded to a death call at a residence in the 1300 block of South Greenwood in Wichita, according to office Charley Davidson.
At the scene, a 52-year-old woman reported arriving at the home to check on 73-year-old Raymond Koob and finding him unresponsive inside.
Koob was pronounced deceased on the scene and had extensive injuries to his body.
On Friday, police arrested Price. He is being held on a $250,000 bond. He has previous convictions for theft, robbery, burglary, aggravated robbery and criminal possession of a firearm by a felon, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
