MANHATTAN —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting and have a suspect in custody.
Just after noon Thursday, officers with the Riley County Police Department made an arrest in connection to a shooting that injured a 28-year-old man in Southwest Manhattan on Wednesday, according to a media release from RCPD.
Police arrested Jalen Gill, 18, of Manhattan on a Riley County District Court warrant for attempted 2nd degree murder, aggravated endangering a child x 3, aggravated assault, and criminal discharge of a firearm at an occupied building.
The victim was treated and released from Via Christi.
Gill Is currently confined in the Riley County Jail on a $150,000.00 bond.
