SEDGWICK COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting that injured two teenagers.
Just after 12:15 a.m. Thursday, someone dropped the boys off at at hospital at about the same time police responded to a shooting on the north side of Wichita, according to officer Paul Cruz.
Police found shell casings and bullet strikes to a home in the neighborhood where the shooting was reported.
A 71-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man were inside residence. They were not injured. The teens are expected to survive.
Police have not reported an arrest. The shooting was drug-related, according to Cruz.
