Sheriff: 2 hospitalized after grain trailer rolls in Barton Co.

BARTON COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just after 3:30a.m. Wednesday Barton County.


A 2019 Peterbilt semi-trailer driven by Garrett Knorr, 28, Great Bend, was southbound in the 1000 Block of NW 40th Avenue, according to Sheriff Brian Bellendir. The driver lost control and the vehicle, loaded with distiller’s grain, entered the ditch and rolled over onto its side.


Hoisington EMS transported Knorr and a passenger Jaxton Fry, 18, Great Bend, to Clara Barton hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to the sheriff.
