WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement investigating a fatal New Year's Eve shooting have identified the victim as 16-year-old Roman Bickle Moeller of Kansas City, Kansas.
Just before 11p.m. New Year's Eve, officers were dispatched to report of a shooting in the 1200 block of Central Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a media release from police.
First responders discovered Moeller with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
This incident is under investigation by the KCKPD Major Case Unit. Police have not released the name of the victim or possible suspect information.
