MIAMI COUNTY—Searchers have located the body of a missing Kansas man. Just before 5:30p.m. Monday, the Miami County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a possible body found in a pond near U.S. 69 Highway and 247th Street, according to Olathe Police Sergeant John Moncayo.
Law enforcement responded and located the body. On Tuesday an autopsy was conducted, confirming the identity as 37-year-old Jordan Yust.
Yust was last seen just before 11a.m. March 3 when he left his home in 14100 Block of W 141st Place in Olathe, according to Moncayo. His Silver Honda Odyssey was later found on U.S. 69 near 247th Street.
The cause of death is still under investigation; however, there were no signs of foul play.
This case remains under investigation by the Olathe Police Department and Miami County Sheriff’s Office.
