RENO COUNTY —Authorities are investigating the cause of a house fire in Hutchinson.
Early Wednesday, crews responded to a fire at a home in the 300 block of West 16 Avenue in Hutchinson, according to a media release from the Hutchinson Fire Department.
Crews found a small fire in the attic space of a single-story home. Crews were able to make entry into the attic and extinguish the fire with no issues. Smoke detectors alerted the occupants and they were able to escape Damage was contained to the attic and ceiling. There were no injuries reported.
