FINNEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on multiple charges as part of an ongoing narcotics trafficking investigation in southwest Kansas
On April 19, police served a search warrant at 310 North 11th Street in Garden City, according to a media release.
Investigators seized 2.4 pounds of methamphetamine, cocaine, THC gummies, items indicative of the distribution and consumption of illegal narcotics. They also seized a stolen firearm and additional stolen property.
Officers arrested 42-year-old Jessie Trujillo, 42, for an active felony warrant and requested charges of Unlawful Acts Involving Derived from the Sale of Controlled Substances, Possession with the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine Within 1000 Feet of a School, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Paraphernalia, Aggravated Endangerment of a Child, Theft – Possession of Stolen Property and Criminal Use of Weapons.
