SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects for allegedly driving under the influence and one who was involved in an accident with a police officer.

Just after 2a.m. Wednesday, a Traffic Officer was investigating a suspected DUI at West and University in Wichita when his vehicle was rear ended by another suspected DUI, according to a media release.
Both the initial DUI involving Ruben D. Roble and the driver identified as Dallas Marques Ligons that rear-ended the police car were arrested on multiple traffic allegations.
The Police vehicle had significant damage and had to be towed from the scene. There were no injuries involved during the crash.
Roble was arrested on requested charge of: DRIVING UNDER THE INFL OF DRUGS/ALCOHOL; 1ST CONV;COMPETENT EVIDENCE OF BLOOD/BREATH .08+ and driving without a license, according to police booking records.
Ligons was booked on requested charges of DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS/ALC; 1ST CONV; INCAPABLE OF SAFELY Driving, Driving while suspended and VEHICLE LIABILITY INSURANCE REQUIRED, according to police booking records.
