LYON COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that sent four juveniles to area hospitals.
Just after 3p.m. Wednesday, first responders were dispatched to a multi-vehicle crash in the 1300 Block of Highway 56 just east of Allen, according to Lyon County Deputy Collin Brozek.
First Responders found a total of 12 vehicles, two of which were fully involved in flames, and a North Lyon County school bus.
Upon initial investigation, Deputies determined that there were two separate crash scenes, believed to be caused by poor visibility, due to smoke covering the roadway. EMS transported 1 juvenile to Stormont Vail with suspected serious injuries, and 3 juveniles were transported to Newman Regional Health with minor injuries.
Parents and Guardians of the students on the bus were contacted.
