CHASE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect for alleged theft.
On June 4, Lyon County Sheriff's deputies arrested 43-year-old Jeremy Cox on a warrant after a reported burglary of a cell tower at 50th and Camp Creek Road in southeast Chase County, according to a social media report from the Chase County Sheriff,
The theft occurred on May 8. Multiple requested charges were forwarded to the Chase County Attorney's Office, including burglary, criminal trespass to a critical infrastructure facility, criminal damage, and theft. Cox is no longer in custody, according to online jail records.
The Sheriff's office advised Cox's accomplice to go ahead and turn themself in because they are keeping an eye out for them.
