Kansas couple killed in pickup, semi crash

BROWN COUNTY—Two people died in an accident just after 8a.m. Friday in Brown County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Freightliner semi driven by Edward C. Bullmaster, 26, St. Joseph, was westbound on K20 at U.S. 75.

The driver failed to stop at the stop sign at the junction.  The semi struck a westbound 2019 Ford F150 driven by David  Provorse, 64, Topeka, broadside. After impact both vehicles came to rest in the west ditch.

 Provorse and a passenger in the pickup Marcia L. Provorse, 62, Topeka, were pronounced dead at the scene and were transported to Chapel Oaks Funeral Home.

EMS transported Bullmaster and a passenger in the semi Clay J Lutz, 36, Rushville, Missouri, to the Sabetha Hospital.
