SHAWNEE COUNTY —One person died after a pedestrian accident that occurred just before 9:30p.m. Monday in Topeka.
According to Topeka Police Lt. Michael Hren, a vehicle struck a man at SE 15th and SE Adams in reference to a report that a subject was struck by a vehicle.
American Medical Response transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Police released no additional details early Tuesday.
