KANSAS CITY, Mo. —A pedestrian injured in an accident just before 4p.m. Tuesday in Kansas City, Missouri has died.
The pedestrian was attempting to cross U.S. 40 Hwy from the south to the north at White Avenue, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina. A westbound black Hyundai struck the pedestrian.
EMS transported the pedestrian to Centerpoint Hospital with Critical life-threatening injuries. On Wednesday, police learned the pedestrian had died. The driver of the Hyundai stayed on-scene and was contacted by detectives.
Police have not released the name of the victim or additional details.
