FINNEY COUNTY —As the investigation into the June 15, home explosion in Garden City continues, investigators determined that the explosion was caused by a natural gas leak, according to a media release from the Garden City fire department.

The gas leak was ignited when the 19-year-old victim turned on the stove. The issue was isolated to the gas line in the home.
