SHAWNEE COUNTY —On Friday, law enforcement released the name of the man who died in a farm accident in Shawnee County as 76-year-old Victor M. Taylor of Silver Lake, Kansas.
Just after 3p.m. Thursday, the Shawnee County Emergency Communications Center received a report of a tractor accident at a rural residence in the 4000 Block of NW Hoch Road, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
First responders found Victor M. Taylor trapped beneath a tractor suffering from critical injuries. Despite life saving measures he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
