SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a series of business burglaries and have a suspect in custody.
On October 30, Federal Marshals, with assistance of Topeka Police took Samuel Zweig, 27, into custody after a standoff, according to LT Shane Hilton.
Officers brought Zweig to the Law Enforcement Center to be questioned for several crimes he was suspected of committing.
After questioning, Zweig was booked into jail on requested charges in connection with four separate downtown business burglaries including: Hero Wireless, 103 SE 10th Street; Burglary, Theft, Criminal Damage to Property
