JACKSON COUNTY— Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on child sex allegations.
Following an investigation, on Feb. 14, deputies and Troopers from the Kansas Highway Patrol arrested 44-year-old Jay Leonard Stewart of. Holton at a Topeka motel, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
Steward was arrested on a Jackson County District Court warrant and booked into the Jackson County Jail on a requested charge of aggravated indecent liberties with a child under 14 years of age.
