Kansas man accused of meth possession, weapons violation

JACKSON COUNTY– Law enforcement are investigating two suspects on multiple allegations.

Just after 2p.m. July 22, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Chevrolet Trail Blazer for an alleged traffic infraction, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

The traffic stop led to the discovery of illegal drug contraband.  The driver, Billie Renee Chamberlin, 46, of Ottawa, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Cale Len Pusch, 54, of Lecompton, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of  possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and  criminal use of weapons.
