GREELEY COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 7a.m. Monday in Greeley County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Pontiac Montana driven by Mary Alice Murray, 60, Scott City, was westbound on Kansas 96 just east of Kansas 27.
The van traveled off the roadway to the right, began to rotate in a clockwise manner and the driver was ejected. The van came to rest facing northeast in the ditch.
EMS transported Murray to the Greeley County Hospital in Tribune where she was pronounced deceased. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
