
SEDGWICK COUNTY —The U.S. Geological Survey says a pair of earthquake with an estimated magnitude of 2.7 rattled parts of Wichita on Thursday. The first occurred just after 2:30a.m. and the second just after 7:30a.m. and were centered northeast of Eastborough, according to the USGS.
These are the 6th and 7th earthquakes of 2.0 magnitude or more reported in the Wichita area in the last two weeks including a 2.7 magnitude quake Wednesday and a 3.3 quake Tuesday. No damage or injuries were reported.

It is the sixth earthquake of 2.0 magnitude or more reported in the Wichita area in the last two weeks including a 2.7 quake Wednesday. No damage or injuries were reported.
The highest magnitude was 3.3 quake on Tuesday, according to the USGS. Other earthquakes were reported in the Wichita area on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27 and Nov. 30.
