KANSAS CITY —A woman critically injured in a July crash died from her injuries.
Just before 10:30a.m. July 28, Kansas City East Patrol officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash in the area Raytown Road and Blue Ridge Cutoff, according to Officer Alayna Gonzalez.
A Ford Fusion pulled out in front of a black Nissan Altima causing a head on crash. EMS transported the driver of the Ford to an area hospital for treatment of critical injuries. The driver of the Nissan suffered a non-life-threatening injury. On Wednesday, police were notified at the hospitalized driver died from her injuries, according to Officer Gonzalez. This is fatal crash #72 in KCMO for 2024.
