Eagle Communications announced this week that Ben Waters has been named market manager for its Salina market, effective Jan. 1.
Waters, who has been with Eagle since 2018, most recently served as market manager in Hutchinson.
"We are thrilled to hand the reins to Ben in Salina. He is the right choice to grow our operations there," Eagle CEO Kurt David said. "Ben has already been engaged with the community and with clients and his knowledge of Eagle's extensive product suite will be a great benefit to help grow the Salina business community.
"He also trained under the tutelage of longtime Eagle leader Terry Drouhard, who leaves a great legacy during his time guiding our Hutchinson and Salina markets," David added.
Drouhard retired effective Dec. 31 after 31 years with Eagle Communications.
"It's been my privilege to observe Ben's rapid growth the last couple of years," Drouhard said. "His rise in our company has prepared him for his new position to lead our Salina radio stations and Salina Post and is a testimony to his ability to understand business and help our customers. In Salina, Eagle operates 99KG, 94.5 Prime and KINA, as well as Salina Post.
