FORT RILEY -- Fort Riley will temporarily suspend the Trusted Traveler program for the next two weekends and during the latter part of December and first weekend of January. Under Trusted Traveler Department of Defense ID cardholders may vouch for up to seven visitors in their vehicle.
Trusted Traveler will be suspended from 10 p.m. Dec. 4 through 5 a.m. Dec. 7. Trusted Traveler will be in effect from 5 a.m. Dec. 7 until 10 p.m. Dec. 11. Starting at 10 p.m. Dec. 11, Trusted Traveler will be suspended until Jan. 4. Trusted Traveler will go back into effect at 5 a.m. on Jan. 4.
Visitors to Fort Riley who don’t have a DoD ID card will need to stop by the Henry Gate visitor’s center to get a pass. You can learn more about accessing Fort Riley by visiting https://home.army.mil/riley/ or by calling (785) 239-2982.
In addition to the Trusted Traveler changes, Fort Riley will be conducting maintenance at the Ogden Gate on Dec. 5. The Ogden Gate will close that day at 5 p.m. and reopen at 5 a.m. on Dec. 6.
