Did you ever have a dream of becoming a zookeeper as a kid? Did life take you in another direction, but you now want to explore the road not taken? Rolling Hills Zoo has the job for you! We are looking for a mature part-time zoo keeper to round out our team.
A zoo keeper’s job is to provide routine care to a collection of animal species; including feeding, watering, cleaning, containment, enrichment, evaluation of health status, and exhibit maintenance. Must be able to lift 50lbs for short distances, 10-30lbs for longer distances, walk over uneven terrain and willing to work in all types of weather. The right applicant is well organized and able to function independently once trained. Must also have strong people skills and enjoy working with humans too!
Keep your full-time job and dip your toe into the world of working with animals 16 hrs. per week.
