WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement investigating a deadly shooting have made an arrest.
Just after 10:30p.m. Tuesday, Kansas City, Kansas police officers were dispatched to the area of N. 7h Street and Parallel Parkway on reports of a person lying in the street.
First responders discovered 45-year-old Jimmie Clark, Jr. the victim of apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased on scene.
Late Thursday, police reported the arrest of 53-year-old Willie Lee Rucker, of Kansas City, Kansas. The Wyandotte County Attorney has charged him with three felonies including second degree, intentional murder; criminal discharge of a firearm at an occupied vehicle; and unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, according to police.
Rucker is currently being held in the Wyandotte County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
