3 arrested after drug task force finds cocaine at Kansas home

SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating three suspect on drug charges. 

On Sept. 2, members of the Topeka Police Department Narcotics Unit and the Shawnee County Drug Task Force  Force served a search warrant at a home in the the 2700 Block SE Jefferson St. related to an ongoing investigation, according to Lt. Edward Stanley.

While conducting the search warrant, officers located Cocaine, Marijuana and drug paraphernalia 

As a result, officers arrested 61-year-old James C. Booker Sr., 71-year-old  Larry D. Hines and and 24-year-ood Dezaray D. West and   transported to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections.

Dezaray D. West remains jailed on requested charges of Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana.

James C. Booker Sr. is being held on requested charges of Possession of Cocaine, Possession of drug paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana.

Larry D. Hines was booked on requested charges of Possession of Cocaine and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
