Two tornadoes occurred in eastern Kansas City, Missouri through Independence, Missouri, on Tuesday, according the National Weather Service office in Kansas City.

 The first tornado is only confirmed via a radar debris signature and video footage and damage is limited, therefore it's EF rating is unknown. The second tornado is rated EF-1 with several damaged trees.
