SEDGWICK COUNTy — One person died following a vehicle-pedestrian collision just after 6:30p.m. Monday in Wichita.
Wichita Police reported a 2011 gray Toyota Camry driven by a 41-year-old man was northbound on Broadway in Wichita. The car struck 41-year-old pedestrian identified as Clyde Gibbls of Wichita, who was crossing the road mid-block.
EMS transported Gibbs to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
The Wichita Police Department’s Critical Accident Team was activated and responded to conduct a thorough investigation.
