Kan. sheriff's K9 helped find drugs, stolen gun

OSAGE COUNTY  —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.

Just before 3:30p.m. September 19, an Osage County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit conducted a traffic stop at Main Street and Topeka Avenue in Carbondale for a traffic violation, according to Sheriff Chris Wells.

During the stop, a K-9 was deployed, and illegal narcotics were located.

Christopher J. Clinton, 42, of Topeka was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility on requested charges of Possession of methamphetamine, Possession of a stolen firearm, Possession of a weapon by a felon, Possession of marijuana and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
