SHAWNEE COUNTY —A Kansas teen injured in a motorcycle accident has died.
Just before 3p.m. November 21, Topeka Police Department Officers responded to a motorcycle, SUV accident at the intersection of SW Huntoon and SW Glendale in Topeka, according to police spokesperson Rosie Nichols.
The driver of the motorcycle, later identified as a 17-year-old boy sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the SUV also sustained injuries in the accident and was also transported to a local hospital.
On Wednesday night, police reported the driver of the motorcycle had died. Police did not release his name. The accident remains under investigation.
