Salina Family YMCA announces selection of fall sports for adults

Missing sports? The Salina Family YMCA has you covered!

Registration is now open through Sept. 8 for several competitive adult sports leagues, including flag football, soccer, and wallyball. The adult leagues, for persons ages 18 and older, will play for six weeks plus a tournament. Players will need to register individually and list their team captain and team name, the YMCA noted.

Flag football

●Plays Wednesdays at 6 p.m., Sept. 9-Oct. 28

●Registration through Sept. 8

●$30 per YMCA member or $60 per non-member

●A minimum of seven players needed per team.

Soccer

●Plays Sundays at 1 p.m., Sept. 13-Oct. 25

●Registration through Sept. 8

●30 per YMCA member or $60 per non-member

●A minimum of three players needed per team.

Wallyball

Like indoor volleyball, wallyball is featured in a racquetball court and provides the element of surprise as you play off the walls.

●Plays Mondays at 6 p.m., Sept. 14-Oct. 26

●Registration through Sept. 8

●$30 per YMCA member or $60 per non-member

●A minimum of four and maximum of six players on the roster with one female on the court.

Additionally, the YMCA offers a variety of drop-in sports throughout the week, such as basketball, wallyball, pickleball, and handball/racquetball.
