Kan. sheriff's K9 finds MDMA/ecstasy in motel parking lot

JACKSON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on allegations.

On November 13, 2022, a sheriff's deputy conducted a traffic stop in a motel parking lot located at 115 S. Arizona Avenue in Holton on a 2004 Chevrolet Impala for a traffic infraction, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

During the traffic stop, a Sheriff’s Office K-9 was deployed and alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics in the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle revealed MDMA/ecstasy and marijuana. The driver, Fredrick Andrew Trimble, 53, of Wichita, was arrested on requested charges that include distribute certain hallucinogenic drugs, possession of marijuana and driving while a habitual violator.
