
SEDGWICK COUNTY — A driver accused in a fatal crash that killed a Kansas man in a wheelchair May 9, in north Wichita made his first court appearance last week.
Jaime Andrez Gonzalez-Arambula, 36, Wichita, was charged with involuntary manslaughter while under the influence in the death of the victim identified as 63-year-old Lawrence Glover of Wichita, according to a media release from police.

Just after 1p.m. Saturday, May 9, police responded to an injury crash in the 2700 block of North Amidon in Wichita.
When officers arrived, they found Mr. Glover in a wheelchair who had been struck by a pickup. EMS transported him to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The driver, identified as in county booking records as 36-year-old Jaime Andrez Gonzalez-Arambula remained at the scene. Officers determined he was impaired and he was booked and he was booked into jail.
