BUTLER COUNTY —Six people were injured in an accident just after 2:30p.m. Monday in Butler County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Ford Explorer driven by Braden Kirkpatrick, 28, Benton, was northbound on Southwest Adams Road three miles west of Benton
When crossing westbound traffic on Kansas 254, the driver failed to yield to westbound traffic at the well marked yield sign in the intersection.
A westbound 2007 Honda Pilot driven by John Arnaldi, 45, Haysville, struck the Ford.
EMS transported Kirkpatrick, a 6-year-old girl and 10-month-old girl in the Ford to Wesley Medical Center. EMS also transported Arnaldi and passengers in the Honda 42-year-old Raven Haule and 16-year-old Isabella Cook, both of Haysville, to Wesley Medical Center. The 6-year-old girl in the Ford was not in a child safety seat, according to the KHP.
