RENO COUNTY — A Kansas woman accused in a violent domestic assault pleaded guilty to lesser charges in the case.
Last week, 55-year-old Cambi Leigh Colley of Hutchinson pleaded guilty to two counts of endangerment, a class A Misdemeanor. She was originally charged with attempted murder. That charg was dismissed.
In January, a complaint was filed against her in Reno County District Court for an incident that occurred January 21 in Reno County. According to the complaint, Colley tried to kill Mavice L Reed-Butters on January 21.
Further, the state alleged that the crime in this case was connected with domestic violence.
Colley will serve 12 months in the Reno County Correctional Facility for each of the counts. The counts will run consecutively for a controlling sentence of 24 months.
