KANSAS CITY —One person injured in an accident earlier this month in Kansas City has died.
Just before 11:30p.m. June 18, a Nissan passenger vehicle was southbound on Interstate 35 at Southwest Boulevard, according to KCPD Sergeant Becchina.
The driver did not negotiate the curve of the road, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway to the left. The Nissan traveled across the grassy median to northbound Interstate 35, struck a northbound Subaru in the #3 lane.
EMS transported the driver and only occupant of the Nissan to a local hospital for treatment of critical injuries. EMS transported the driver of the Subaru to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
