PRATT, Kan. — Pratt Police caught a robbery suspect Friday afternoon.
According to a social media report, police located the man inside the lobby at People's Bank at 202 South Main and he was arrested immediately without incident.
The suspect was unarmed and cooperated with law enforcement. He was taken to the Pratt County Jail and booked for robbery.
“I appreciate the quick response of our officers in handling the potentially dangerous situation," said Chief Nate Humble. "The calm exhibited by professional bank personnel and the quick response of your officers made this arrest very effective, with no one hurt.
Criminal charges are pending following a complete investigation of the incident.
