FINNEY COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a suspect for alleged violent sex crimes.
On November 8, police responded to the north part of Garden City regarding a rape that just occurred, according to a media release from Garden City Police. After arriving, they spoke with a woman who reported being assaulted by a man she knew, identified as 29-year-old Sami Ullah.
The investigation revealed that Ullah arrived at the woman’s home while she was in the backyard. He allegedly grabbed and forced her into the garage, where he pushed her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.
Ullah fled the scene but was located shortly afterward by Officers and taken into custody. He is in the Finney County Jail on requested charges of Rape, Aggravated Kidnapping, and Stalking.
