SHAWNE COUNTY—There was a minor train derailment just after 7p.m. Thursday in Topeka.
One car was involved near 77th and South Topeka Boulevard, according to BNFS spokesperson Lena Kent. There were no injuries and no HAZMAT involved.
On Friday morning, BNSF crews moved the car back into place and the train transporting vegetable products and cornmeal continued.
