SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects in connection with an armed robbery.
Just after 9p.m. Monday, the Shawnee County Emergency Communications Center received notification of a medical emergency in the 6500 block of NW Elmont Road, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
Deputies discovered that an armed robbery had just occurred when a 61-year-old man's vehicle and money were stolen from him at gunpoint.
Deputies arrested Jaterri J. Davis, 36, of Topeka, on requested charges of Aggravated robbery, Aggravated assault, Criminal trespass, Theft, Theft of a motor vehicle, Criminal possession of a weapon by a felon and Possession of an opiate, opium and narcotic or certain stimulant
Deputies also arrested Diamantae T. M. Boyd, 31, of Junction City, on requested charges of Possession of an opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant, possession of stolen property; firearm, Possession of stolen property and Use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia
